Fernando Alonso Wins Bahrain GP
« on: Mar 14, 10, 10:42 »
Not much of fight. The refueling ban is creating new problem for F1. Drivers are conserving tyres and saving fuel they are not  challenging the car up front. Sebastian Vettel was cruising to a commanding race victory till he faced the mechanical problem in his car. Sebastian Vettel slowed down and helped Fernando Alonso to overtake him easily. Then it was Massa and Lewis Hamilton. Sebastian Vettel was a sitting duck. He will learn from this and become more mature for sure. Sebastian Vettel kept the car in the race track and finished 4th as Nico Rosberg ran out laps to overtake Vettel.

Michael Schumacher missed over take of Rosberg by fraction of a second as Rosberg was coming out of pits. Certainly Michael should have challenged him but he let Rosberg go away.

KaruN Chandhok crashed out in the initial laps itself. Soon Virgin cars followed. Senna followed later. Only Lotus continued till the race end. Trully Trulli's and Kovalainen's experience came in handy.

Coming to the cars. Redbull is the clear winner and may run away with race victories for another 3 races before others come up with new parts for the car. Mark Webber writing his own obituary from the F1. May be this will be his last F1 season if he does not improve. Kimi Raikonnen will take his place.

Massa lost his 2nd place to Fernando Alonso in the start of the race and that Massa valuable points and a race win today. But Massa coming after a long break and was happy with his first day after the race accident last year.

Michael Schumacher's second fiddle to Nico Rosberg is very puzzling. May be he wants to learn the car and then take on.

The fights among the team mates mean it is going to be between Feleipe Massa - Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher - Nico Rosberg.

Among the cars RedBull stands at the top. Followed by Ferrari. Third place should go to McLaren. Fourth to Mercedes. This is the pattern that was set during the Winter test and there was no change.

Among the middle placed teams. The clear winner is Force India followed by Williams. Renaults will surely catch up these guys. Force India cannot be euphoric as there is still 2 seconds gap between their car and the fastest car in the grid. And it will take long time for them to reduce this deficit.

Karun Chandhok mistake was not shown on TV. He is going to have sleepless nights till Australian GP. I understand he increased speed and lost control of the car.

It is a great start by Alonso.  Poor Vettel was let down by the Renault Engine...

MS is back with the bang, finishing 6th after 3 years is amazing ......

Car has to Reliable for Karun Chandhok. He may have to wait for another 2-3 races to finish the race .

Most important for KC is he has to finish in front of his team mate.
