Sitting Pretty
« on: Apr 24, 13, 07:35 »
After the Bahrain GP when we look at the statistics, one can observe from the head to head race results of the team mates the following are in a better position. In other words, their counterparts will have sleepless nights till they over haul the deficit.
The ratio is either 4-0 or 3-1 in most of the cases See Here
  • Charles Pic - Giedo van der Garde 4-0
  • Fernando Alonso-Felipe Massa 3-1
  • Kimi Räikkönen-Romain Grosjean   3-1
  • Jules Bianchi-Max Chilton 4-0
  • Lewis Hamilton-Nico Rosberg 4-0 [3-1]
  • Nico Hülkenberg-Esteban Gutiérrez 3-1
  • Valtteri Bottas-Pastor Maldonado 3-1
are having a 4-0 or 3-1 position as against team mates.

Jules Bianchi-Max Chilton 4-0 and Charles Pic - Giedo van der Garde [4-0] duos finishes are too close most of the time and there is nothing noticeable to pick a driver as outstanding.

Fernando Alonso-Felipe Massa 3-1. The clear winner is Fernando Alonso. Even though Massa's form is better and he had out qualified his team mate in the firts two qualifyiers, Massa's misfortune continues on the race day. And at some point in time superstition in the team will replace logic and Massa will land up in trouble. Potential vacancy arising in Ferrari unless Massa recovers.

Kimi Räikkönen-Romain Grosjean 3-1. The gap is minimal. Grosjean has put  up a decent performnace. Kimi should be wondering whether Romain Grosjean will over take him at some point.

Lewis Hamilton-Nico Rosberg 4-0. Rosberg so for reinforced  the Mercedes belief that he only be a second driver in the team. The champion's quality of making worst as bad, bad as good, good as excellent is not present and it works the other way for him. He had made an excellent position as worse in the last Abu Dhabi outing.

Nico Hülkenberg-Esteban Gutiérrez 3-1. With a heavy crash due to a mistake and further stats is not in his favor Esteban Gutierrrez is becoming a liability to Sauber. Hope he stays full season.

Valtteri Bottas-Pastor Maldonado 3-1. Valterri Bottas who is a Rookie has upstaged Pastor Maldonado even though that did not bring him any points, it will increase the confidence of the rookie.

Meanwhile Jenson Button 2-2 puts him in a poor light. Being a former World Champion his 2-2 standing as against Perez is some what pales his efforts. Added to that is the way Perez over came him in the Chinese GP.

These guys are true competitors, they will perform or perish So lets wait for the European Leg to start. :applause:
