After bagging a deal with iSports in GP2 and scheduled to participate non-stop in GP2Asia and GP2Europe, Karun Chandhok will be the busiest Indian in the motorsportsin the year 2008.

This turn around for him is because of his decision to move to lower level Renault Asia in 2006 and improve his skills. Winning the championship in 2006 helped him to move to GP2. (At that time, this move was rediculed by Narain Karthikeyan).

Armaan Ebrahim followed KC to Asia Renault  in the year 2007 but missed his chances to win the championship. He may have to slog out one more year in the Asia Renault.

The motto is - become a champion in the lower categories and keep moving up. Better that way. Unless you prove your worth in the lower categories how else you can claim a spot in the pinnacle of motorsports i.e., F1.

Narain Karthikeyan came down from his earlier stance of looking A1GP as a third rate motorsports event and started partcipating in it. Eventhough it is late decision, Narain Karthikeyan has also realised this. His win in A1 GP will help him boost the confidence.

Better late than never.
